I decided Christmas 2008 that I wanted to do a bodybuilding competition in the coming summer. I knew a fair amount about training but little about the nutrition side of things and the specifics of competitive bodybuilding. A friend recommended that I seek Martins advice and services.

Having gone through it all himself several times gives him the inside knowledge and experience that gave me confidence in his abilities. He gave me a diet and training plan that evolved as time went on to tune my physique. This was reviewed regularly when we had our meetings, in which Martin checked my progress and taught me how to pose, which is an art by the way. Where his experience is invaluable is the pre show preparations, e.g. water manipulation. I noticed my physique evolve by the hour at this point. It is all the detail that Martin goes into that all add up to a big difference at the end, this is what gave me my edge over the other contestants.

What helped this long and difficult mountain to climb was that Martin is a friendly and approachable person that you can only get on with. The bottom line is that without Martin’s expert advice and coaching I would have never reached the level I did. The only regret I have is that I didn’t work with him sooner.
